Meg

Paramedic

Down in Meg & Milo town, Meg is a kind and experienced paramedic who loves helping children feel safe and brave.

She knows that visiting a health centre, ambulance, or hospital can sometimes feel a little scary, so she takes the time to explain what is happening using simple words and a warm smile.

Alongside her cheerful helper, Milo, Meg answers questions, offers reassurance, and reminds children that it’s always okay to ask for help when they don’t feel well.

Through their adventures, Meg and Milo help little ones understand their feelings, build confidence, and discover that healthcare workers are friendly people who care.

Inspired by over 15 years of frontline paramedic experience caring for children and families.

Milo

Milo the Helper

Milo is Meg’s cheerful little helper and best friend. Curious, kind, and always ready with a smile, Milo loves helping children feel brave when they are worried about feeling unwell or visiting a health centre.

He knows that new experiences can sometimes feel a little scary, so he’s always there to offer encouragement, answer questions, and remind children that it’s okay to feel nervous. With his playful personality and gentle sense of humour, Milo helps turn big worries into manageable moments.

Whether he’s handing out bravery stickers, helping Meg explain what might happen during a check-up, or simply making children giggle when they need it most, Milo shows that being brave doesn’t mean you’re never scared – it means asking questions, accepting help, and taking one small step at a time.

Milo believes every child has a little bit of bravery inside them. Sometimes, they just need a friendly helper to help them find it.
